The 7 Pages Every Wellness Website Should Include (and Why They Matter)
Many wellness practitioners know they need a website, but they are often unsure of what it should look like. Whether you’re a holistic practitioner, massage therapist, coach, therapist, or another wellness professional, your website should do more than just look good—it should make your visitors feel supported, informed, and confident about taking the next step.
Think of your website as your business's digital welcome mat. Every page has a purpose, and when combined, they create a smooth experience that helps potential clients transition from prospective visitors to booked clients.
Today, let’s explore the seven vital pages every wellness business website should include and why each one matters.

Home Page
It’s important for visitors to feel "at home" when they first visit your wellness website. Beyond the aesthetics, within just a few seconds, visitors should understand who you help, how you help them, and what they should do next.
For added ease, I’ve broken down the key points to cover below:
Immediately explain who you help: In this instance, you can make great use of the hero section of your homepage by adding a headline and subheadline that speak directly to your target audience and explain how you can help them.
State your services clearly: After you have identified your audience, you should quickly and concisely highlight at least three wellness services that best support your clients. You don’t have to go too in-depth here, as each service will be explained further on your Services page.
Introduce yourself: In this section, you should include a brief introduction about who you are as a wellness professional or explain your business model. You don’t need to go into too much detail here, as you will also have a dedicated About page.
Build trust: Testimonials are an effective way to help prospective clients see what like-minded clients are saying about you. It’s through this feedback that empathy is fostered and trust is built.
Keep navigation simple: It’s essential to have a homepage that is easy to navigate, with clearly identified menu items that provide visitors with a user-friendly experience and minimal wait time.
Include one primary call-to-action: At the bottom of the page, include a clear message that warmly invites your target audience to get in touch with you.

About Page
In a world of AI, there is a growing desire to hire real service providers. Wellness professionals work in a unique industry where prospective clients make hiring decisions based on sensitive needs that should be handled with care—but first, trust must be established. Instead of using your About page solely to list your qualifications, share the story that led you to your work and the values that guide your practice.
For example, let’s say Christopher is a licensed therapist in Manhattan, New York, and he wants to create a therapist website for his practice. He contacts a wellness website designer who provides copywriting prompts as part of the onboarding process to help create the content for his website.
After completing the prompts, the web designer is able to use that information to write About page copy that tells Christopher’s story, explaining what inspired him to become a licensed therapist and why he feels drawn to this type of work.
Next, Christopher highlights the values that guide his practice and explains how those values help him best serve his clients based on their individual circumstances and needs.
Although Christopher’s credentials don’t dominate his About page, they certainly are included to highlight his qualifications and the amount of time he’s been practicing.
For a special added touch, Christopher highlights his unique approach compared to other service providers in his wellness niche by introducing a sliding scale pay option for his clients. Do you offer a signature program, personalized follow-up services, or a unique technique? This is your opportunity to shine.
Last, but certainly not least, Christopher includes at least one professional photo of himself that is on-brand with his website aesthetic. While it’s perfectly acceptable to use licensed stock images throughout your website, it’s equally important to include at least one authentic, professional photo that aligns with your brand. Remember, people like to buy from people.

Services Page
The main goal of your Services page is to help people decide whether you're the right fit for their needs. Rather than simply listing your services, describe the transformation your clients can expect and what working together actually looks like.
Let’s take a look at another example with life coach Brittany. On her coaching website, her wellness web designer strategically includes three services: individual coaching, couples coaching, and monthly group coaching.
Each service includes a short yet detailed explanation of what it offers, who it's for, and how it can help. Additionally, the pricing is conveniently listed next to each service for full transparency and convenience.
Brittany’s web designer also includes an FAQ section on the Services page to help build trust by providing useful information. Tip: Adding an FAQ section to your wellness website is also great for SEO!
For added transparency, Brittany includes a My Method section on her Services page to provide more detailed information about what it's like to work with her, what clients can expect during sessions, and the outcomes they can work toward.
After providing all of these essential details, the wellness web designer adds a strategically placed call-to-action button at the bottom of the Services page that warmly invites prospective clients to book a consultation and get the ball rolling.

Contact Page
If someone is ready to contact you about your wellness services, don't make them hunt for your information.
Lisa is a massage therapist, and she and her web designer decide to create a beautifully designed, on-brand contact form for her Contact page. The form includes just the right number of fields so Lisa can learn more about her prospective clients' needs while securely storing the submitted information in her Zapier account. Once the information is received, she can easily access it and follow up with prospective clients.
For added convenience, a booking link is also included on Lisa’s massage therapy website so clients who are ready to schedule can easily book an appointment. The system automatically schedules appointments based on therapist and room availability while securely capturing payment.
Lastly, Lisa lists her business address and phone number so prospective clients can call with questions or obtain directions before their appointment.

Blog Page
Every wellness website should include a blog filled with helpful articles. A blog provides visitors with valuable information about your area of expertise while creating another opportunity for your website to be discovered through Google.
A blog on a wellness practitioner's website improves SEO and establishes your expertise by answering common questions, sharing educational content, publishing fresh articles, building trust, and creating internal links throughout your website, which help boost your site's authority.
If enabled, visitors can subscribe to your blog and even leave comments, making it a great way to encourage community engagement.

Bonus / Resources Page
On your wellness business website, consider adding a dedicated resources page that provides ongoing value while encouraging visitors to stay connected through your email list as your business grows.
Here are a few resource ideas to include on your bonus page:
Free resources
Newsletter
Speaking page
Workshop page
Media page
Remember, this is a unique opportunity to provide additional value while setting your business apart from others in your industry.

Legal Page
Legal pages may not be the most exciting part of your website, but they're among the most important for wellness businesses. If you're collecting contact form submissions, email newsletter sign-ups, or online bookings, your website should clearly explain—through your Privacy Policy—how visitor information is collected, used, and protected.
Moreover, whether you're a therapist, coach, naturopathic doctor, or another wellness practitioner, a disclaimer can help clarify that the information shared on your website or blog is intended for educational purposes and should not replace personalized professional advice or treatment. The exact wording will depend on your profession and services, but having an appropriate disclaimer can help set clear expectations for your visitors.
You can protect your wellness business, build trust, and demonstrate professionalism by including some of the following legal pages:
Privacy Policy
Terms & Conditions
Website Disclaimer
Health or Wellness Disclaimer (when appropriate)
Accessibility Statement (optional but recommended)
GDPR or other privacy considerations if you collect visitor information internationally
While every wellness website should include appropriate legal pages, the specific language should reflect your services and local regulations. If you're unsure what applies to your business, it's always worth consulting a qualified legal professional.
